I am the Founder of Sunny Ridge Doodles. I manage all client correspondence, social media, whelping, breeding, schedule/planning, & our Guardian Program.
Before Sunny Ridge, I spent 15 years working with dogs in a variety of professions including Dog Training, Grooming, Veterinary, Pet Resort Management, Dog Daycare, Behavior & Diet Specialist, and have owned and operated my own private Rescue Program.
Dogs have always been my passion! Sunny Ridge is a project straight from my heart, built with sweat, tears, and lots of puppy kisses!

Art is a man of many skills and infinite patience. Committing your life to dogs isn't just a job, its a lifestyle choice! Art co-managed Kelly's Dog Training and Rescue Program for many years before Sunny Ridge Doodles began. Art recently decided to leave his hard earned career as a Captain at sea to become a work at home Dad and the behind-the-scenes half of Sunny Ridge Doodles. In 2020 Art & Kelly moved their family to a 20 acre Ranch in Temecula. He now handles the seemingly endless responsibilities of Ranch life and manages the daily care and needs of their dogs, puppies, and other farm critters. Its a 24/7 job!
Our Little Helpers
Raising amazing puppies truly is a family effort. Our kids are probably some of the luckiest I know. They literally get to play with puppies all day! Someday ill get them to scoop some poop, but for now they provide hours of attention, socialization, and desensitization for our Doodle puppies. This is an incredibly valuable aspect of our program that sets us apart from adult-only breeding households. We all share in the puppy snuggles, but kids specifically help the puppies be comfortable around noise and energy making them more confident and better prepared for life with their new family members of all ages. The feedback we get on the temperament from our puppy families is so rewarding!
