Aussie-Mountain Doodles

SIZE: Our Aussie-Mountain Doodles aka "AMDs" come in three different sizes. Our Medium AMDs are 35-50lbs, Mini AMDs are 25-35lb, our Micro AMDs are 15-25lbs. One of our goals in appearance is a stocky square frame and teddy bear face. Each litter is unique!

COAT & GENERATION: The Sunny Ridge Aussie-Mountain Doodles are created by breeding a Bernedoodle (BD) to an Aussiedoodle (AD), or AMD to either AD or BD, or AMD to AMD in a variety of generational blends. This means all our AMD puppies are considered "multigen" and not F1 or F1b etc. We have carefully selected and paired our parent dogs with health, structure, temperament, & genetics in mind. Coats are nonshedding,  wavy or straight. 

SPECIAL TRAITS: There are some very rare traits and combinations of genetics that set our puppies apart from the competition. One we are very proud of is the rare and sought after BET (Blue Eyed Tri) gene giving many of our puppys' perfect bright blue eyes in any coat color including Merle and Non-Merle puppies, and even our reds! BET comes from both Australian Shepherds and Bernese Mountain Dogs and is currently in our Mini & Medium.

TEMPERAMENT: Intelligent, athletic, affectionate and loyal- These special Doodles give the best of all 3 breeds! They're a balanced blend of being both athletic enough to keep up with any lifestyle while maintaining a more laid-back personality and being easy to live with. They're very trainable and willing to learn and but are also at ease just lounging around. They're a perfect blend of Aussiedoodle & Bernedoodle.

FUN FACTS: Aussie-Mountain Doodles are one of our FAVORITE breeds to raise! We really enjoy their balanced temperaments and how quickly they learn new things. We retired our Aussiedoodle program in favor of this amazing Doodle blend.
