SIZE: Our Tibetan Doodles range in size from 15-30lbs. They are a stocky and square little dog with a broad head, expressive ears, and a tail that often flips up over their back. They have the cutest proudest little strut, super soft coat, and fluffiest teddy bear face.
COAT: Tibetans & Mini Poodles are both genetically fully furnished and non-shedding! The breed combination creates a voluminous silky coat with a wavy texture that grows long and requires professional grooming. Can be styled many ways, but shaggy is the best!
TEMPERAMENT: Intelligent, confident, goofy, and very loving! Tibetan Doodles combine many similar breed temperament traits from Tibetans & Poodles, as well as improving qualities of the 2 breeds such as sociability, trainability, & health. They are bold and curious dogs with an average energy level and thrive in a family environment with proper training.
GENERATON: New in 2026! We are evolving our program to include both F1 (first generation 50/50%) & Ultra (2nd generation, 75% Tibetan & 25% Poodle).
FUN FACTS: Tibetan Terriers are NOT terriers at all! They originate in Tibet and were considered good luck charms and kept as companion and watch dogs. All Tibetan Doodles are wavy coated, non-shedding, and hypoallergenic with NO shedding breed genetics mixed in! Sunny Ridge is one of the ONLY program in the USA dedicated to this fantastic doodle with puppies available year-round!
